but then i saw batman and robin were across the street so i went to shoot them instead.
well, actually, i was going to shoot the 420 protesters, the people who wanted to legalize marijuana in this country. but i smelled trouble. literally as in the smell of tokes and i started to cough. but right across the street batman and robin were holding court to some mesmerized passersby. robin was the spokesperson, blabby, chatty and gabby. won't stop talking i wanted to smack him and tell him to be quiet for a minute. batman was his usual self, quiet, mysterious and occasionally spreading out his bat cape, as if to say "look, ma! i'm wearing tights!".

this is for my get pushed challenge this week which is an animal shot. well, a bat is an animal; a man is an animal and robin, even as a bird, is an animal. :-D
omg! this is awesome! i'm soooooooo jealous! and love that you're using this for your animal shot....
a couple years back 4/20 was on a work day and they gathered at dundas square... i got some cool shots... have to say, there wasn't much of a protest air about it when i was there... just a gathering of the clans :D
@claireuk - hunks like this are endangered, too, claire. :-) thank you.
@northy - well, i think your people around dundas square miss you a lot :-P oh, btw, there was also a "dancing mountie" and i got him just as he was stripping into his 'work clothes". :-D i may have to designate this week as street shots week i have so many. thanks for the fav, m.
@bookthiefsfriend - thank you, lyleigh.
@sarasdadandmom - jumpin' jelly beans, terry! thank you!

Bats are endangered over here, don't think we would class this bat as endangered :0)
