another shot from my sojourn last sunday shooting at the convention centre where the fan expo was being held. this girl has the most lovely blue eyes. i was going to approach her to ask if i can take her photo but this security guy chatted her up.
so far i have no takers for this people portrait challenge. and i'm just too scared to ask people. so i would just content myself for now with sneaky shots like this.
She is rather goddess looking, I must agree. I think you would have gotten a warm reception had you barged in. When I do my Strangers shots, it's the same thing - you just have to overcome the fear and ask. I've found that about two out of three are honored and/or agreeable. You'd have better odds I think, since you are much less scary looking than I!
Terrific candid capture ! What do you mean you have no takers? you have come up with some fabulous portraits of people! I think my favorite part of this picture which I noticed immediately is the Summerfield shuttle stop!!
