in our travels yesterday, we found this bull or bison or whatever it is called on the side of the road. i had the bright idea for partner to pretend to pull it while i take shots. it was snowing rather hard with strong winds and to my surprise he obliged and hammed it up with gusto.
i had wanted to have taken an angle where the platform didn't show so that it looked like he was actually pulling a live animal. even then, i thought the very thin plastic rope would've given it away. but he was a trooper so he deserved to be treated to a supper of steak and lobster.
we had a real lousy internet connection last night at the hotel; even after the problem was fixed, i couldn't upload my post so this comes rather late.
thank you for your kind views and comments; i truly appreciate them.
@henrir - oh, without a doubt. as soon as i asked he jumped out of the car! thank you, henri.
@lesip - hah! only because it was a statue. although he was a farm boy growing up and he is strong as an ox so maybe he can bully the bull if it was real. thank you, leslie.
@olivetreeann - no, he's leaving the photographing to me. he likes to be the 'director' (i call him dictator). i've put a camera around his neck and he wouldn't do anything with it. thank you, ann.
@jannkc - yes, he could be fun sometimes. :-) thank you, jann.
@salza - thank you, sally. i was laughing all the time i was telling him what to do and to hold it for as long as i was telling him to hold it. but after a few shots he must've realized what i was up to. hahaha!
@helstor - he could be quite fun most times. thank you, erik.
