artist challenge #47 - edward weston

in the style of edward weston's "aspen valley" and "brandon, oregon" photos.

mind you, this was shot in colour but it was still snowing a bit and thus some heavy clouds made the morning grey and quite drab. we were on our way to the butterfly conservatory this morning when i took this shot, partner driving at 65 kilometres per hour.

it had been snowing hard yesterday, intermittent, but when it came, it came so hard it was tricky driving, and photographing. the payoff was this morning the trees looked lovely with all the snow attached to them.

thank you for your kind views and comments; i shall return the favour shortly.

to all my canadian friends, enjoy your family day weekend.
Amazing how a cold and dreary day can make a shot turn out so nice. Well done
