that mother ship isn't much, is it?

this is the same courtyard as in my december posts

ice-fishing huts and ice sculptures depicting canadian icons and symbols dot the commerce court courtyard since monday. i have not found out what event is taking place in there but i hope to go back there tomorrow at lunchtime.

the circle in the middle is the large fountain that dominates the courtyard from spring until early fall. that unidentified object you see in the centre is where the water would normally be coming from. no, seriously, it's actually a launching or landing pad for UFO's and there's a little one right there from probably just a tiny planet. welcome to earth!

Nice shot. I love the landing pad idea. Actually we have a small town here in Alberta that actually has a landing pad for UFO's. I have never been there yet but maybe one day

At first glance I thought the huts were dog kennels! Love the idea of a ufo landing site.
