aha! i found life on the side of the road during my walk this afternoon. the sun shone through thick fluffy clouds thus the almost washed out look. i love crocuses and i love seeing them in different colours.
these were really tiny and low on the ground so crouching was a bit tedious considering the bad back. yes, i now am conscious of the rotating screen of the camera but since the sun was right on the screen, i had to use the lens' AF. i should go back there immediately and re-shoot this MF to get a better focus.
my granddaughter would immediately say 'that's the mama, the daddy, and the baby' - as i look at this happy shot of the crocus family i hear the birds outside my window - i do believe it's spring!
Beautiful perspective, detail and tones, looks great viewed large. I found some purple crocuses Friday which just started to bloom and when I went back this evening they were already withered, not sure what happened to them.
