Fantastic processing! It really is rather unusual to see someone using a public phone. Maybe he's a foreign visitor and his international roaming isn't working!
wonderful capture and processing. maybe he lives in an area like i do where cells phones simply do not work? only reason malcolm has one is for when he is in his truck - sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
Ooo...We do not have any phone booths left, that I can think of. This is great and love the processing. So he may being a bit furtive/sneaky here? He looks like it. Great catch!
@fullcircle - we still have a lot of pay phones around here, just that nobody seem to be using them anymore. except perhaps this guy and another person who uses the left booth every morning. thank you, cindy.
@salza - no, he lives around here. i've seen him around a few times. thank you, sally.
@gooner46 - one of our satellite offices in downtown toronto has a red phonebooth imported from the UK as a decoration/prop. these bell ones are still around though. thank you, chris.
@valpak - believe you me, big brother is always watching. :-) thank you, valerie.
@michaelelliott - he was there, i had my camera, what can i do? :-) thank you, ME.
@aurorajane - we're on to something, aren't we? look at his smile! thank you, aj.
@atooner - this is still an ordinary sight for me, at least in these particular corner. thank you, amy.
@lafish - thank you, laurie. they've become expensive to use though compared to elsewhere this is still cheap.
@catsmeowb - hahaha! he lives around where i live and where i live almost all people have smart phones or iphones or something, at least i think they do. thank you, camille.
@claireuk - yeah, as i told aurorajane above, just look at the expression on his face, he's obviously smiling. thank you, claire.
@espyetta - he is being furtive. he was smiling and sort of giggling that time, you know something like we used to do in high school when we talk about our crushes with our friends. this guy, and he's not young, he's just sort of secretive yet flirtatious. maybe i should print this and tape it in all the posts around the area. hahaha! thank you, MB.
Great street photo - almost historic - how much longer will these phone boxes be around? They are being sold off in the UK.
