get pushed #42 - food colour in water

the very beautiful miss frida @frida is my get pushed partner this week and she challenged me to do "food dye in water and it creating beautiful images there". ah, the bane of my photographic existence!

as you know, i've tried this sort of thing before and it was an epic fail. i had one posted so far which i wasn't (and still am not) happy about. here: http://365project.org/summerfield/365/2012-11-14 i found a little fishbowl tonight so i did try my hand once again at this food colouring thing. this is what i came up with. just one single image, cloned to create some sense of art, then just because i had nothing else better to do, i turned it upside down and now the images look like trees. i used the inverted effect and it turned black and purple. well, i love purple so i added bird and butterfly stickers and presto!

my artistry is a bit off tonight or i probably just suck at this food colour thingie. thank heavens for @espyetta's ETSOOI!!!
@frida - here's my first try at your challenge.

Well Miss S! This is faboulous! What a response, colourful, pretty and exuberant! I really like it! I must apologise for the lack of my response to your challenge. I will not be entering it with a tag but will do it and tag you. It has been simply manic at mine with me sorting out all before I started work today and now I am wiped out, no idea where or when I will find any inspiration to do any more photography but I know I must for I enjoy it a lot and it challenges me mentally. So watch this space and stick with me. Thank you and good luck with the tulips :) Looking forward to a painterly one from you :)
