this was supposed to be yesterday's post but the swan and the dog won it.
yesterday was victoria day in canada and it was a perfect queen's day - bright sunshine, nary a cloud in the sky, just a slight breeze and the temperature finally was decent enough for a day at the beaches. and because the beaches were teeming with people, especially in the early evening as people prepare to position themselves for a good vantage point for the fireworks. the pond, just across from the beach was also teeming with gleeful folks, but this caught my eye. short of blatantly taking a photo of her with her parasol (i guess if it rained it would be parapluie then) i went up the incline to take this shot.
