partner was delivering downtown at lunch and he called me to say he has to go to the distillery district for a pick-up. i had wanted to go inside the old distillery buildings to see what it's like inside.
the old distillery building, as are the other old buildings in the complex, is now home to a number of art companies and galleries. they retained the structure as well as some of the equipment, vats and tubes, and whatever they are called, and are now the "motif" or decor of the building and the offices. these buildings are of course not really open to the general public and photography is strictly prohibited. that's why i had to sneak in.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; they are greatly appreciated.
my appointment tonight was moved to early saturday morning so that gives me more time to review the photographs i want to include in my portfolio that i will show off to that new sports bar's owners.
Well, he's got deliveries to make! He can't take time to wait for you to take pictures! hehe Exciting news on the sports bar- hope the "interview" goes well!
I really like the shot in black and white. It brings out the textures in the building. Congrats on your photo-gig! I hope it goes well for you on Saturday . I wish I had the confidence to sell my stuff!
what a funky cool looking building... and lucky you to have the human element... so you're showing your portfolio tomorrow morning? so exciting... good luck!!!!!!
