in action

yesterday at the rosetta mclean gardens, partner and i encountered this trio while i was shooting some macro stuff. the videographer/photographer made the lady in black to lie down on the thick carpet of leaves. she was quite hesitant in the beginning, but she did so anyway. my guess is that the lady is a recording artist because partway through, he asked the assistant to play the record and some kind of mellow music. i snuck out behind an evergreen tree and snapped a few shots.
It is always fun to watch other people taking shots and see what they do

Great candid. Wouldn't it be nice to know what they were up to. Although it is fun to make up your own story to fit the scene!

I love the balance in this composition, I especially love the leaves above and below and the subject of this capture. Lovely.

@bkbinthecity - thank you, brian.

@salza - my guess is she's a violinist because the music was of that instrument. she was being coaxed to "feel" the music. but who knows, maybe they just needed a body down on the leaves. :-) thank you, sally.

@orangecrush - thank you, jerry.

@claireuk - there was no way i was going to do that either. i'm thinking bugs, worms, eeeek! good thing it's a no-pet garden so she didn't have to worry about poo, although there were some squirrels around. thank you, my friend claire.

@cathrinemitch - great observation, my good friend. thank you.

@678tabby - around here, there's plenty. most wouldn't want them to be photographed but whether they like it or not, i try to get sneak shots if at all possible. thank you, june.

@tsteall - thank you.

@lafish - thank you, laurie.

@sarasdadandmom - my favourite subject! thank you, terry.

@northy - thank you, M.
