i tagged along @k1w1 and @northy in their photo trek around hamilton, a city west of toronto. our first stop was cootes paradise. when we used to live with partner's mother in the farm, i would see this place as i drove on the highway but never got around to visiting it. so finally i saw it today. but i cannot say "been there, done that" after coming here, as i would like to come back and shoot it for the next three seasons.
a bit of info from wikipedia.org - "Cootes Paradise is the largest wetland at the western end of Lake Ontario, on the west side of Hamilton Harbour. It is located in the city of Hamilton, Canada. It is owned and managed by the Royal Botanical Gardens, a private charitable status organization. These lands represent 99% of the unaltered lands along the local Lake Ontario shoreline."
thank you, folks, for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
