my get pushed assignment for the week is to "photograph something that is naturally black and white" which was posed by my partner this week, @rachelwithey.
it is rather a difficult task because although most of my clothes are either black or white, there is nothing in both my and partner's apartments anything that is black and white. we used to have a set of china that is white with black trims but we boxed them and put in storage for the grand kids. thinking about it now, there was a dalmatian dog in front of the clinic today. now why didn't i take a picture of it?
but the pearls are in a crystal container on the window sill and i have a strand of black fresh water pearls, so that saved the day.

Nice use of subdue lighting, I have a mixed set of b&w pearls from Minorca, anniversary present, now I will have to keep them in reserve for a shoot:0)
