against the cold wind, he walked, in slow deliberate steps, head slightly vowed, the sound of his shoes crunching liquid out in the rain was drowned by the wind's whirling sound. his eyes never once lifted to see who was around. he circled the property at least twice while i was there. he was still walking when i left.
