one of the things i wanted to photograph around here is what we call 'slice of everyday life'. well, it's not possible in manila as everyone is adamant i put away my dslr and just use a crappy camera. but when we went to my friend's private resort which is about two hours drive from manila, things were different. the slice of life thing after all was made a bit possible. people were willing to get photographed, no fuss whatsoever, and were even proud of what they do, whether sweeping the garbage off the streets or just sitting around. they even offer their children to be photographed. i was walking around the local market and i had no fear that someone would just grab my camera. there were two men who waved me off, but in a jolly way.
here's a roadside stall selling mini pineapples. they turned out to be really sweet, if you're diabetic you must get your pills ready. if this internet thing behaves going forward, i'll be able to show more slices of the poor man's life.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that i truly appreciate them and i hope to return the favour soon.
