all day, it taunted me, this colour. walking to the subway i saw a man walking at the end of the long block wearing black and a purple back pack. but it happened that this was the morning when everyone else decided to wear black. even when i zoomed in the purple wasn't visible.
then there was the woman pushing a stroller and the baby's jacket was purple.
in the subway, the young man sitting in the opposite row had on this gigantic pair of headphones. the colour? purple! against his cream coloured bonnet. but i couldn't take a picture and i wasn't in the mood to ask. i thought i'd wait till he got off but i got off first. darn it!
at lunch, i had to go to the department store to get some tinted moisturizer (yes, claire, i found out Clinique's got it!) and passed by the men's section - purple ties, purple pants, purple shirts.
an older dude came rushing past me, he had on a pair of headphones, not as big as the guy's on the train, but they were also purple.
one of the girls at the office e-mailed me telling me she had an arrangement of pretty purple flowers, would i like to take some photos if I'm having a purple theme. well, since the flowers weren't running away...
from these sojourns, i take it purple is the "in" thing for this season?

That is a beautiful colour, fashionable or not. Those roses look gorgeous, starting out as a soft mauve and going into darkest purple in their centres. Love the selective colouring.
