another interesting shot from last saturday's sojourn at the beaches. i was panning the expanse of the frozen ground when i saw this person halfway down the lookout which was still totally icy/frozen. it's a very narrow path of huge uneven rocks and a simple slip and you could fall into the cold water of lake ontario. and what was he/she taking a picture of? just the ice formations in front of him, which was spectacular, really! if i was brave enough, i'd have gone myself, but falling in some chilly lake is not my idea of drama.
thank you for your kind views and comments; they are truly appreciated, folks.
@redy4et - thank you, elizabeth. wouldn't dare go there on my own. even with partner, i hate it when he tries to make me go on slippery uneven rocks even though i know i'm safe with him around. but the thought of him falling and taking me with him is always a possibility, no?
@maggiemae - why, thank you, maggiemae, you're so kind. he must be pretty good to be carrying all those gears. i see a lot of 'professional' looking guys around this area, especially that this winter there's been a lot of fantastic ice formations.
@kali66 - partner takes me places, too, but i draw a limit on what i would like to do. thank you, kali.
@lafish - thank you, laurie.
