demi-plié by summerfield

demi-plié

the calla lily from two Mondays ago is on its last leg so i thought i'd get a few more shots. although the stem is still very firm the rim has started to curl and turn brown, like it's dying a slow death. the curl of the base of the spathe is quite attractive though and it reminds me of a ballerina's bended knee.

little wahoo is in a case here: http://365project.org/summerfield/365-again/2014-03-22

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Love your caption and this shot! Simple and lovely. My ballet teacher used to make us do about a million plies…hated ballet practice as a kid!

You know what a Demi plié is! A nice vision with this gentle curve ! Don't ask an arabesque out of it though!
