this 'wishing bowl' sits on the edge of a small front lawn of a house near my apartment building. i thought it was quite whimsical.
a man came up to me as i was taking photos of flowers on the side of the street. probably checking out what i was doing but he stood behind me long enough to determine that what i told him what i was doing was just it. i asked if that was his garden and he said no. he ran back to where he came from and i heard him telling someone that i 'was just taking photos of the flowers'. when i passed by his own home, he told me: "you can take pictures of my garden, i don't mind." i thanked him but his supposed to be garden had nothing on it.
thank you so much for your visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
He must have been sent by "her indoors" to make sure you were not casing the joint; got a closer look and decided you were harmless. Love the tones and textures. All the story well told.
Seems like taking a stone out is more like carrying the problem around with you. But that's just me. It makes for a great b/w shot and it's a creative idea. Funny man- but at least you can say he's looking out for his neighbor. There's something good about that.
