i was trying to take self portraits last sunday morning for the bench selfie challenge when i looked up and i saw the bird on this weather vane. after i took the church spire from yesterday's post, i had taken photos of this weather vane, but i thought it's more interesting with the addition of the bird perched in there. so i forgot about the selfie and had another missed opportunity. but this is more pleasing to look at than the bench anyway.
off to bed to try and get a good night's rest. i shall have to wake up real early tomorrow as i will have to meet mara @mara19500 and her friend who are visiting from italy, and bring them around downtown toronto.
