i had intended to post this on this day but i didn't bring my laptop with me so i'm posting this just now. better late than never, as the saying goes. i know you guys enjoyed your long weekend as well as the fireworks that never seemed to end! we were going to catch the fireworks near where my brother and his family live but we haven't seen for three years that there was just too much to talk about. we did stay up until the sound of fireworks died though and from where i sat in the dining room, i could see snippets of the fireworks.
