when i took this photo, i knew it was to be my post for this date. it's like peeking at an american dream come true for the pilgrims. late in posting though as I'm just trying to sort out my photos from last weekend and my sojourn with my italian visitors.

my brother and his family live in the suburb of carol stream which is northwest of chicago. on saturday morning, we went to do some grocery shopping after which my brother asked where i'd like to go to take pictures. on our way to the grocery store, we passed through a short bridge and underneath was a creek with thick banks of trees and understories. then i saw a sign for kline creek farm so i told him to bring me there. it was only about twenty-five minutes from their house but they didn't know about it until then. so now they have a place to bring their future visitors and it's just a stone's throw from their place.
