it wasn't a totally cloudy day as the sun was all ready to set on the north side of this view. this was taken from the patio of the panorama bar and restaurant at uptown toronto, where @northy, mara, angela and i were told that they didn't allow commercial photography just because we were going to use our tripods.
this is looking south at downtown toronto, the city's financial district, cranes, construction and all. there were big cranes to the right which thankfully the collage rejected. i should've cloned out that crane on top of that tall building on the left, it really buggers the heck out of me.
this is for the artist challenge, the artist being david hilliard, a fine arts photographer that mainly works with panoramic photographs. he displays each of his works in a series of three panels, separated by white borders, giving the work the illusion of just one photograph (hmmm...that's quite a muddled explanation. ah, i'm a writer, i will get that eventually :-))
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly and genuinely appreciated. also huge thank you for your very generous favs on a few of my recent postings.
i've been getting huge support and encouragement from a lot of people to have a combination of photographs and stories published. i have approached an editor and i have been given three months to come up with something viable. my initial thought is a two-part book: personal stories, and fiction. yeah, that's the plan, if i don't get cold feet, like always!
This artist sounds fun to do. I don't know if I'll even have a chance to read about it before I get to meet you! We are on the go with Leigh visiting. I'm worn out for sure!! Good job on the interpretation of Hilliard.
