anyone seen or remember that movie? every time i see these towers, that's what comes to mind. in 1990, my nephew, then five years old, made me sit and watch the movie that he had already seen six times. i naively thought it was a comedy movie because that funny guy from "perfect strangers" was in it. well, he was still funny. whenever we would drive long distances and we would see these towers, he would always shout "the langoliers are coming!!!"
sally @salza had a bad camera day yesterday. and today, i got it, too. that bad camera day can be quite contagious! so this is all i could offer you for today.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are very much appreciated.
A scene from War of the Worlds pops into my mind! Cool light and lovely colour. I think bad camera days are there just to test our patience and will power to carry on!
Nice lines! Argghh! Talk about bad camera! Mine wont even cooperate with shooting outdoors so I experimented with old films as filters just to get rid of the overexposure even though my exposure was set at -2.0.
Arrrghhhh, I know what you mean about bad camera day. I had that on Thursday... Took over 40 photos and liked a phone one the best! Love the sinister feel here and the light!
Great reference to the Langoliers. Wonderful capture of the lines in reference to things that have pushed humanity further. Those lines are everywhere, yet sometimes I think we take them for granted. Those lines connect the world in ways we never thought possible. Great capture. Fav
