mangetout

this is a snow pea. it is a legume. it is eaten whole while still unripe. but i had to save this one so i can photograph it, otherwise i won't have any post for tonight.

it's not easy being green!

i have seen some folks around here doing one colour scheme for a whole month. my hat's off to them. i can't even do a week! i wonder what my post would be for tomorrow because really, who wants to look at a vegetable. or legume, in this case.

i apologize for being so behind in commenting on your posts. i shall try and catch up when i shall be home tomorrow evening. thank you.
great lighting

Beautiful! Didn't realize you we're doing green for a week. Will you be doing different colors every week, or is this a challenge? See, now you got us all curious! :-))))

Superb lighting. Love how it brings out the veining of the pod! I think that I could manage a week of one colour but not sure I'd take on a whole month!

I'm enjoying the green week! The snow pea looks like an X-ray, love the way you can see the peas through the pod and all the veins! Great photo : )

@amandal - a piece of discarded refrigerator glass shelf, i covered it with a "film" for covering windows, then i put a bright lamp underneath. needed to clean up the white areas in post though. just doing the green thing for the week. i think in the coming days i will start to skip posting, if my OCD wouldn't kick in. :-) thank you, kiddo.,

@overalvandaan - thank you, saxa.

@panthora - i didn't realize it either! :-) i don't know if i would do another colour, maybe if I'm starved for inspiration. i'd like to try doing the rainbow colours for the month though, maybe next month or whenever. thank you, osia.

I really like how you have isolated this, and showing the veins and peas inside. Did you shoot this on a lightbox?
