neon glow

no, it couldn't be any greener, i don't think!

coming back to toronto, partner and i took the long way home. he drove me to port dover by lake erie where he treated me to a beautiful lunch of perch, pickerel, scallops and shrimp at the erie beach hotel. after lunch, we walked along the main street towards the beach where i took a few photographs. there were too many people though so it was quite impossible to take any meaningful photographs. plus i wasn't feeling any creative. we passed by one of the shops along main street and found this empty bench outside a dry goods store called *harry's*.

one of my faults with the camera is forgetting to put my normal settings back. at lunch, i took photos of the interior of the restaurant and had to set my ISO so high (1600) so as not to use the flash and disturb other guests. we went out in the sun and i was wondering why my shots had blown up skies. duh!

thank you so much for your concern over our emergency in london. we are going to be spending our weekends there more frequently in the next little while. you folks are so great that's why i don't every want to quit from here. that, and the fact that i am sooooo deep into this addiction. :-)
love the narrative and well green it most certainly is

Well, I guess Harry really took "going green" to the limit! Glad to hear there is some sort of resolution in London and hopefully all those week end trips won't wear you out too much. The green theme is sailing along quite smoothly or should I say, sitting comfortably?

Great SC shot. I do the same, sometimes leave my camera in manual mode, only to hear the shutter stay open WAAAAY too long, sometimes ISO too high, and on and on and on...
