my niece had a party on the weekend and she set aside a large crab for me. she knows i love seafood, and she feels bad whenever i'd come to her parties and i couldn't eat any of the goodies on the table. so she makes it a point to set aside something for me when she gets lobster or crab, and always that's when i couldn't come.
i remember fifteen years ago, when partner and i with his mother drove around the Canadian east coast for three weeks. first chance i got to eat a humongous lobster and i ate it alone. his mother was in awe of me: "that's too much work and you seem to be doing a fine job!"
for the five plus two's "food" theme this week.
warning: since there is this 'food' theme, i just might post selfies for the rest of the week. that is, if i don't forget to take a pic of me with my food. as partner always tells me, the only time i forget about my camera is when there's food in front of me! :-D

He looks as though he could quite easily devour you, if he wasn't already plated up! I have not eaten fresh crab. I'm not even sure I would know where to find one!
