and its oil. this was my epiphany today. was sitting pretty on the subway train coming home when i thought of oregano. there's a supermarket near the next stop so as soon as the doors opened, i bolted out. yes! they had fresh oregano. then as i was turning the key to the apartment, i remembered i have an unopened bottle of oil of oregano. while i know what i use the oil of oregano for, i'm thinking what would i do with the fresh oregano after i've made a big batch of tomato sauce. hahaha! methinks i will freeze the darn thing.
i have a few more ideas for o's just missing one. i'm sure leslie won't be able to contain herself and would tell me that great one she thought of tonight. :-)
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
@maggiemae - basil has a broader leaf and would have a stronger smell. fresh oregano doesn't have an ostentatious smell. it's a different story with oregano oil. oy! thank you, maggiemae.
@cheribug - ooops! sorry, some of my text were erased. i've edited it now. i was on the train when oregano came to mind. that was my epiphany! thank you, my cheribug!
Hmmm! i am thinking oregano and oil would be two separate ones! I hope you haven't wasted an opportunity! As for the image.........magnificent! Love the clarity and color!
Another O, fantastic. Did you shoot this inside a light box? Love the comp and the negative space. Who'd a thunk the sewer tart image is in an O? Good one my friend.
@bill_fe - on the dinner table, overhead light, white board background tilted back so that it's catching the light from the overhead one, filtered light box on the left. not just a pretty face, huh? :-) thank you, my friend.
@bill_fe - if i feel like i'm having a cold or sore throat, i take a teaspoon at night before i go to bed. and when my sinus is starting to act up or i have a fever, i take it three times a day for three days. it's like an anti-biotic. it tastes awful and it effing stinks! but it works like magic!
@summerfield@bill_fe A shot of whiskey, a tablespoon of lemon juice, a teaspoon of honey. Heated in the microwave and tossed back. Go to bed with a half dozen blankets and I guarantee You will be cured in the morning! No need to take anything that stinks or tastes awful...............unless you don't like whiskey! ;~}
@grammyn - actually, right now, we have a 'farewell' for one of our younger associates who's leaving. we this bottle of a top notch whiskey and i could smell it from my desk which is 20 offices down the end of the hallway. needless to say i feel so drowsy now with the scent. cheers! my good friend. :-)
@kwind - thank you, kim.
