this store gives me a headache every time i pass by. they are makers of 'organic' soaps. they are a franchise store so they are everywhere almost. this one is on the street and i passed by it on my way tonight to the venue where the "totally unknown writers festival" was being held. i was supposed to introduce some of the participating new writers but ended up taking photographs instead. hah! it was good to see old and familiar faces from my early writing days.
i am noticing more and more the distortion from the lens i am using when i'm shooting wide. but i read from a photoshop magazine that this can be corrected. i would have to spend some time to read and learn the photoshop program as i don't think i can wait until my paid lesson in december.
thank you for your visits and comments; know that they are truly and greatly appreciated.
I don't know if you saw my challenge which I left for you on 9th November. If not I attach it to this comment. Could you please challenge me to something (though not portraits or selfies). "As I am your Get Pushed partner I challenge you to take a montage. I know you can't use Photoshop but the good thing about montages is you don't always need Photoshop - you can print off up to 3 or 4 photos, place them together and rephotograph them."
Good for you, prioritizing as you did, and still got to see old friends. I could help with the distortion if you use Lightroom. I'm afraid I don't even know how to spell ps, or Photoshop, or whatever it is. :-)
This picture gave me a chuckle... We were traveling somewhere and, seeing this store that is a favourite of my daughter's in Chicago, I thought I'd just step in for a photo to send her. Good grief! did I get a heave ho for trying to take a picture! Now if I had a cell phone... It always amazes me who is ok with photos and who isn't!
love the image
@annied - the perfumey smell is so strong! thank you, annie.
