five more bottles to go but i only have four. eeek! this one is called "rare pearls", again by avon. i didn't know avon has so many in its perfume line.
last month when we drove around niagara, i found a 'jones new york' outlet store in one of the outlet malls. i got a non-iron cotton shirt that i could wear to the office which cost $49.99. i had always been a JNY fan and i bought most of my suits in the past from them. so i thought when we go back for our annual Christmas getaway i'd get two more of different colours. i was even willing to pay the regular price. well, what do you know, they were not on sale, despite the advertised boxing day sale in the store. which i didn't mind. but there was a 'similar' style of the same non-iron material for $5! so i ended up getting four for just $20. i had originally earmarked $100 for the two shirts and i ended up having $80 extra.
i'm not crazy going to boxing day sales or black friday sales. but i did want to get the shirts so partner thought we'd go earlier to avoid the crazy crowd of buyers. when we got there, only the coach and nike stores had a long lineup. mind you, the prices weren't even that great and yet shoppers had been pre-conditioned that they're getting a good bargain.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
You have really aced this series! So many of the shots would make wonderful advertising posters. I love the dark background here, a very elegant capture.
wonderful yet again, this has been a great series to finish 2014 on. Really looking forward to the next one, shoes? shirts? (starting with those sale ones)
very elegant, as most of the bottle shots.
When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought I saw a little mouse scurrying. But his ears were the bottle cap and his nose the pearls.
Another beautiful shot, the card has a wonderful sentiment; I was going to say something about the set up but it has already been said. You could make your shots of these bottles into a calendar, it would be a nice girlie present next Christmas. Have you done a shoe theme or handbags & gladrags? Just if you are looking for suggestions. Cx

i avoid those crazy sales like the plague... most of what i want i can get on line and the sales come around perpetually anyway...
