i am almost accepting defeat with this bokeh thing. almost. not quite. i could've just shot the moon, but it was doomsday cold and i had a mild leg cramp walking home from the subway.
the good news is i found another set of fairy lights from amongst my pile of old 365 props. another good news - i discovered i can shoot in black and white with my nikon. i don't know why it's good news other than the fact that there's going to be a black and white theme in february called "flash of red february". check out the discussion page under themes and challenges if you are so inclined.
thank you for your kind views and comments; know that they are truly appreciated. i didn't notice until tonight that my "cardplayers" post made it to the popular page (for about two minutes probably) with just 6 fav's. i appreciate your generosity, folks.
Actually these look like frisbies! Are you sure this beautiful vessel is not throwing frisbies? And then, of course it could be skeet shooting - firing clay plates in the air for you to shoot! I guess you can't hold a shot gun and a camera at the same time so it must be bokeh! Excuse my silly rambling!
LOL Maggie thought the bokeh looked like Frisbees and I thought, "There are CDs floating in the air!" I wouldn't call this a failure- and you know what they say...practice makes perfect.
I like very much how the green light is echoing itself on the bottle! Almost feels like one could touch it.
