i found a craft puncher at the art store near my office that has this shape. however, it is too small and only works with the 50mm lens and i'm not so keen with that lens. i'm going crazy reading all these articles about bokeh and shaped bokeh and they all say one thing: nothing that could help me improve on this. best i can do for today. hopefully, i'll have an epiphany tomorrow for a better bokeh shot.
and can someone give advice as to how i should position those darn lights. they look so unnatural, don't you think?
this is over-processed in ribbet. turned to black and white, painted the colours back in, did something else that turned the lights into purple, then black and white again and something else before it got to this. too much work for nothing!
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly and greatly appreciated. i admit i am wayyyyyy behind in my commenting duties. been trying to catch up to no avail.
@kwind - you do? where'd you get it? i'm having a hard time drawing and cutting out i might go out of my mind before the week is over! :-) thank you, kim.
@olivetreeann - no, this one, the tulip, it's a craft puncher. the star i cut out, the snow flake i got it from a box, i just removed the plastic film and pasted it on foil with a hole in the middle. thank you, ann.
