some animals, especially in the zoo, seem to know when they are being photographed. the grands, ivy jean and young jack from london are staying with us overnight and we met up with them at the high park zoo. this emu just hammed it up when i was shooting it. there were other people taking his picture but he just beelined for me when i stopped to shoot.
tomorrow, we bring them to the islands as both kids had never been on a boat. we're going early to catch the first ferry and be back in the mainland in time to be the people traffic that the long weekend brings.
