this crazy weather. pouring rain one minute, sunshine the next. from madison, wisconsin, to batavia, illinois.

bill @bill_fe drove me to carol stream, illinois, from madison. but first we stopped in batavia to meet with another 365er, JT @voiceprintz and we went photo trekking. this was at the japanese garden of a beautiful park where we met up with JT. i was shooting this old fence when i noticed the florets behind it, the only one in the whole length of the fence. i love the juxtaposition, don't you?

five days of photo trekking has ended. now i am trying to sort out all those photos i have taken.

Did you go photo trekking with Bill and JT for five days?! What a wonderful time that must have been. This is beautiful! Love the flower peeking through, but more than anything I love that ancient knot that seems to hold the fencing together....so understated and powerful!

@panthora - no, just the one day with bill and jt. bill came to toronto and we photo trekked with northy in the evening. then we met with ann on the thursday and friday in niagara falls.

OMG...LOVE on so many levels! Beautiful, wonderful photo! LOVE that you've been around visiting with "all my friends"! (Pained that I'm not going to Chicago as planned in June... *Maybe* in September...) and last but VERY not least, those wonderful lyrics! LOVED the musical when I saw it performed in our local repertoty theatre years ago, and, you do know, do you not, that that painting is front and center stage as you enter the Art Institute's Impressionistic wing!
