old industrial pinwheel-shaped anvil by summerfield

old industrial pinwheel-shaped anvil

this was shot hastily overhead without peering through the camera's evf; just extending my arm with the camera in my hand pointing down then pressed the shutter and hoped for the best. this pinwheel-shaped piece of equipment is a forming anvil used to hollows and tapers in metal sheets.

the self-imposed challenge of "industrial" continues this week, so there won't be much of a colourful or sweetheart photos in this album.

industrial is defined as "anything having to do with the business of manufacturing products; but not utility, transportation, and financial companies."

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
I think it turned out very well under the circumstances! Great composition!

Not bad for a point and hope for the best! Excellent editing. I keep forgetting the description for industrial; I messed up again with a 'utility' shot yesterday evening. :-P

I am liking these images, and I applaud you for trying something so different and interesting, but I almost want to see them as parts of a coherent whole.....as in telling a story of a distant industrial past that has now fallen into disuse, or somehow tied to the products or processes they used to make....what sort of project are you working on? I know there is a narrative here somewhere.....because it is you, and you like a good story!! ;-)))
