asphalt manufacturing

this plant is a real beauty. there are two huge rounded buildings, one just totally black and the other with a beautiful mural depicting the local waterfront of port stanley. this plant manufactures asphalt and other paving solutions/products.

the self-imposed challenge of industrial winds down this week. four more shots to present to you after this one. i just wished i was able to get inside one of these plants to photograph their inner workings.

for this the car had to be parked. it's hard to give justice to these structures, as they're built and supposed to look utilitarian; short of coming close or right next to these structures i wouldn't know how to make them look pretty with my limited creativity.
