asphalt manufacturing #2

these are two of the huge storage tanks at the back of the asphalt manufacturing plant from yesterday's photo. there are two more nondescript tanks but the far one is the most interesting for its murals. these two are facing lake erie and the murals go around the tank, progressing to modern-day seascapes. this side depicts galleon-like ships or tall ships that plied the lake in the olden years. i thought you'd appreciate it more if this was in colour.

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are so much appreciated.
Wow, those are massive! I wonder if there is asphalt odor in the air. I like the mural. It almost blends into the baby blue sky. Very cool.

Nice of them to enhance the looks of such utilitarian tanks. I like how you have the stone bank leading my eyes to the tank with the mural.

At first I thought it was a reflection until I read your narrative. A clever way to camouflage their industrial look! Great composition to show the contrast of the two tanks as well .

love the contrast of the two tanks. Whoever planned this out had fun.
