i so envy you guys who has a handy model. the new people in our mailroom are definitely not model materials. hahaha!

i was so chuffed this morning when i realized that you kind peeps, with your generous visits and favs, brought all three of my postings last night to pp, including the madhatters posting. so thank you, thank you, thank you. and a special thanks to katy @grammyn for trying to get a screen capture of all three photos together. the reason i knew this was i wanted my sophie's eyes on pp so when i checked, all three were right beside each other. unfortunately, when i tried to do a screen snap, the positions changed and all three went in three different parts of the page. story of my life.

in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness month, which is being spearheaded by marta @whimsicalgrateful. whereas i will be posting something yellow or with yellow for a week (as i will be travelling in mid september and may not fulfill the challenge), marta and others supporting the cause will be doing this for a month. i may continue for as long as i can incorporate something yellow in my shot, but for this week, it's all about yellow on this album. won't you join in this worthy cause?

see marta's discussion here: http://365project.org/discuss/general/26172/month-of-yellow

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly and greatly appreciated.
I know the feeling. I keep going to myself too. I do want to push myself again to photograph strangers though.

I love that fabulous pop of colour with a textural nod to the change of seasons! Until today I hadn't realized you had your own private, gorgeous, model (when I followed the tag!). That said, you've never failed your self (nor us) when you turn the lens in your direction!

Great pop of colour, it works beautifully against the black. Hopefully you will find a new willing model soon.

Sorry to hear you work with a bunch of uglies. Clearly you chose the best model here. And don't get too worked up there on PP - as my stupid tractor on corn nuts got PP too. An obvious glitch in the PP algorithm. (In my case of course - yours, well deserved!)

A fabulous composition! Why settle when you can have the best model around? Beautiful, smart, and very willing to take direction I'll bet!

@olivetreeann - thank you, ann. hat trick indeed, and nobody threw a hat on the floor to acknowledge the hat trick. you know, not even those who own a fedora! :-)

@summerfield I think in some sports (well at least in soccer for certain) a hat trick refers to three goals in one game- so three on the PP in one night is a hat trick on 365.
