the yacht house by summerfield

the yacht house

as seen from the docks of Heart Island where Boldt Castle is located.

it is an impressive structure. if you have browsed the link from yesterday's post (which i must admit i forgot to include. tee-hee!) you will have an idea of how impressively huge that yacht house is.

there were huge boats stored in that house when we visited, and really screams of its historic past, whence George C. Boldt would have his own boats kept there.

for the duration of the road trip, the days were like the last hurrah for summer - clear blue skies, warm temperatures and it didn't look at all like fall was nearing. perfect for the incredible road trip!

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated. thank you, too, for sending both my rose get-pushed photos to pp. your favs made it so and i am very grateful - you know who you are! :-)
