too early for next week's theme but fit right in with the red theme this week. these are decors i found in one of the ladies' desk at the office. i had to upset their desk decorations just to photograph this. tee-hee! it's a shoe and matching purse and a ball. i thought they're cute together.
a photo i took at one of our office events was used in an article about our law firm featured in a national newspapers' supplement about the 25 top employers of greater toronto. there was no credit and i was not asked if the photo could be used. the no credit i could understand after i leafed through the entire supplement, as none of the photographs featured were credited to anyone. where i would have normally put my watermark would have been cut off by the publisher anyway. but the office surely didn't ask me if they could use it. it would've been nice if they did since it was for outside publication. i don't mind if it was internal, everyone knew who took the photo anyway. but then again...
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated.
Captures the essence of Christmas with a modern twist. Lovely shot Sum.
We're all sorry to hear about your stolen copy rights. As you mention, a watermark is really your only defence in a world where your (hard/fun) work can be copied and pasted at the drop of a hat, even from these pages!! We tend to put our watermarks on the edges so as not to ruin the shot for our 365 friends, but that might all change if we're unlucky. Just look at is as a compliment and let it spur you on to better things.
love this christmas shot

Great that your picture was used, but how annoying that they didn't get your consent or give you credit for it.
