it's a white fuchsia, confused yet?

once again, i'm super busy at the office, with the month-end tasks yet again. i mean, i haven't even recovered from the month-end stuff i started doing as soon as i came back from my vacation. and i need another vacation to recover from that vacation.

it's only to say i haven't the time to go and get a photo so a quick dash to my secret garden where i know white fuchsia thrives. i only gave myself five minutes to take a photo - yes, five minutes. the deep purple fuchsia and the fuchsia fuchsia (tongue twister, that one, say it over and over: fuchsia fuchsia) were being admired at by a group of business-clad types who probably have never seen purple fuchsia and fuchsia fuchsia because they truly lingered on and wouldn't move away so i had to content myself shooting the white fuchsia.

then one of the business-clad dudes ask: if it is fuchsia, why is it purple? and when someone pointed out there's also a white fuchsia, and the dude said, white is white and fuchsia is fuchsia. it can't be purple, it can't be red, it can't be white, it should just be fuchsia.

another business-clad dude pointed out that the spelling of fuchsia is such that if you didn't know how to properly pronounce it, you could mistakenly say "fuch-sia", the ch sometimes being a hard k sound which would make it a profanity.

and yet another one asked, what time is lunch?

this is a three-fer:

for the "fuchsia or confusion" challenge http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/27538/fuchsia-or-confusion-begins-today

also for the six-word story challenge.

and for the macros-waterdrops challenge http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/27535/new-macro-challenge-waterdrops

and don't forget, you gentle folks, that the mundane abstract-glasses challenge ends at midnight tomorrow, march 31, so put in your entries before then. http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/27503/new-abstract-mundane-challenge-glasses

whew! that was tiring, wasn't it?

okay, i'm out of here.
One. I'll bet the business clad types were all men weren't they? 'Nuf said!
Two. A most excellent photo for only five minutes shooting allowance.
Three. Beautiful light and of course the drops.
Four. Well done to get three challenges out of one amazing image.

Fantastic water drops and I love the shallow dof. I also like the twist at the end of the story my darling.
