New Macro Challenge!! (Waterdrops)

Thank you so much to @dianen for organising a macro challenge group and for hosting our first St Patrick's Day Macro challenge - this group has been extremely helpful to me. And thanks so much to everyone that voted for my entry.

I thought to make the next challenge a theme that everyone would be able to participate in so we will be doing a waterdrop macro challenge. Interpret it any way you want. Rain drops, drops on a flower or any other creative way. This challenge will run from Tuesday, March 29 through Tuesday, April 5. After the deadline for entries ends, I will pick 5 finalists and put it out for voting thru Saturday, April 9. The winner of the challenge will choose the next theme and put the challenge out for all.

OK - the first time I've shared a photo on a thread - and my first water drop for the macro challenge. I'm hoping to capture some more as the week goes on - I didn't find it so easy!

I've wanted to do the whole water drop setup for a while, but never got around to it. This will be a good excuse :-)

Oh, I had so much fun taking photos of water drops today. My kids thought I was crazy - then they got into it when they saw the results. And my smart 6 year old says that tomorrow I should try and take photos of drops falling into water (rather than water dropping off things like I was doing). I'm not sure that the photo I finally choose for 365 is the 'ultimate' water drop photo - but I liked it more than some of the more 'classic' shots that I managed to get.

Really good fun - I'm going to think about water again tomorrow :)
