don't ask me what the significance of this photo is because i don't know. i'm doing a project that needs some gold glitter but i can't find a bottle of just the gold glitter at the dollar store. they only have a package of these little vials (about 2 inches high each) with different coloured glittery-glitters. turned out i don't need the glitters because the gold paint i bought would suffice. so i tried all manners of setting up the little vials to take a photo. if these were 'live' beings, they'd probably slap me silly or would've walked out on me. i am a very difficult director to work with, as you know. :-) but the high key seems to be the only thing that works of all the shots, at least with my mood today.
friends, lovers and citizens of the world, lend me your ears! i am hosting two challenges and i don't want them to die on my watch. so, i beg you, please, please, please please! put in an entry or two. and if i have to grovel and beg, i will even up it with a tin of those (in maggiemae's words) "divine" godiva chocolate.
Well, whatever it is, your composition is pretty dang cool. I know some strippers that might be able to use that glitter when you're done with it. ;-) Also, I'll see what I can offer wrt your challenges. We don't let them die!
It's really beautiful just the way it is. Nicely composed. I have been thinking about your two challenges but haven't gotten around to doing anything yet
I love glitters! Did you read about the company that sends glitter to people you hate? lol. The glitter will be delivered to the office and will supposedly explode right in your face. Pretty cruel but all in glittery glory. hihihi. Nice shot btw.
Ooohhhhh I love this pic!
Glitter, tiny bottles, bright colours - all together. Just needs some parrots and chocolate and it would be my idea of heaven....
I wish the glitter I had to buy once had come in these nice little bottles. Plastic with writing- yuck and totally unphotogenic. I am so sorry I missed your artist challenge- I have had another busy string of photo club events, plus family in town last weekend for my birthday- some minor but fun redecorating and "stuff" in general. I've been glad to be at the farms as I usually have a ton of photos from there to keep me going. So again- sorry I missed the artist challenge- it looked like a good one too!
