behind every mask by summerfield

behind every mask

life is a masquerade; everywhere you look are people hiding behind masks.

an incredible amount of etsooi happened here. but this is a far better offering than my planned refraction shot which was an utterly super fail.

thank you folks for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated. and also for the very generous favs you bestowed on my photos everyday. you are all awesome.
an incredible shot!!!!

OK, what went wrong with your refraction shot? Can I help?

@bill_fe - refraction shots and oil and water shots are not my strong points. let's leave it at that.

@bill_fe - even this took me all night to get the right tone and angle then have to edit the shit out of it like mad.

The white on white is perfect here - shape is just visible and softened. A mask can be unfriendly but this one isn't! fav

I think this really works as a minimalist high key photo. The point of view brings up the shadows.
