for the flamingo friday. at the calgary zoo from sometime ago. these were separated from the rest of the stand as they have light colouring, some were almost white. i like the full shadow of the bird on the left cast partially on the flamingo on the right.
thank goodness for 365, else i'd be up to here with inauguration this and inauguration that. i kept telling my officemates "hello, we're canadians!"

p.s. - i doubt i'd be able to shoot "land" this week for the 52-week challenge, so since this was processed today, and it's showing some "land" this is my entry for week 3.
haha...most of my flamings I've photographed are also "light peach colour" but when "fun" is called for, PS steps up the colouration! I have friends in both Australia & England who were writing me about the happy change that took place on Inauguration Day today. For all the naysayers, there's another half of the population that were quite pleased to see the old guard out!
Another worth Flamingo Friday submission! They must be feeding these Canadian flamingos bacon or poutin to get that light shading - I'll send them some shrimp. I do like the shadow of the flamingo cast on his friend. Thanks for playing Flamingo Friday Vikki!
