i would not claim to know anything about split tone or things like that, and my addled brain does not wish to be bothered. but that is the technical requirement this week of the 52-week challenge. i'd have been happy with this in its original coloured version of black and white (confused?) because it looks like a 'happy and contented' photo. well, it only means to say that i am not rising above the challenge, doesn't it?
The colours are rather bright. I have never really used or taken any interest in split toning until this week. Have done quite a bit of reading and it does sound more interesting than I originally thought. Did also discover that not all pictures are suited to it. I will be posting my shot shortly.
At least you are trying - I wouldn't have a clue (being totally glued to rainbows). Looks like you succeeded to me although I can see why you would have been happy enough with black and white.
Super creative way of dong a split tone. I have yet to do mine - got to figure out how to do it although I do not see the value in this particular exercise since I am not a fan of split toning.
