not! this is the pod of the CN tower. i was having lunch in our staff room when i looked at the tower and saw that there were four idiots who were about to 'walk the edge'. here, they are still being lectured before the actual walk. that lecture took almost thirty minutes. i say they're idiots because if i have that much money to pay for that edge walk, i'd rather spend it on the real thing, which is skydiving. this edge walk consists of walking around the perimeter of the pod. you are harnessed three or four different ways. but really where is the thrill in that? but to each his own, n'est-ce pas?
shall i grovel and beg you to please be sure to check them out and try to put in an entry or two for either or for both. much appreciated, folks!
ps: over at five plus two, our theme this week is beauty. might you join us with a self portrait depicting your interpretation of "beauty" and tag it fiveplustwo-beauty http://365project.org/fiveplustwo/365/2017-10-04
thank you for your kind visits and comments, as well as your generous favs; all are appreciated. i promise to catch up with my commenting on the weekend.
You really are obsessed with aliens, aren't you? For me it would take more guts than money to do something like that but more power to the fools that want to try
Ha- if I'm going to be that high up in the air, there's no way I'm hurling myself toward earth! I'll stay put in the hot air balloon. This, although I'm sure the view is amazing, would have me frozen in fear and unable to move! Great shot though!
The thrill is in having done something a bit daring while ensuring you won'r die doing it! I walked the Sydney harbor bridge in much the same way and can assure you there is still a rush for having done it!
