i was sitting in my boss' office when i looked out and saw this pair cleaning the windows of one of the brookfield towers. i started taking photos from when they were still up on the 50th floor. this shot however gives a better perspective of how high they are. it baffles me no end though why the windows of that building needed to be cleaned when i have never seen people in there at any time. those offices, although furnished, are never occupied by humans! the only time i've seen a couple of people in that building was when i was having a discussion with the boss, when in mid-sentence i told him "oh, my goodness! there are people working in that building!" my boss looked at me like i was a lunatic because of course there would be people in there.
anywho, i'm tagging this for the street challenge, although it's probably more appropriate for the air challenge but there's no such challenge.
also for the six-word challenge although i could also probably tag this for the song title challenge but i know i couldn't as i changed the noun "she" for "they" in the title so maybe it doesn't count.
this would've been a good entry for the half-and-half challenge but alas! it's been over.
What a great shot! Those guys are truly talented! They are the unsung heroes of the high rise in my mind to do all those windows. And you have captured the massiveness of their job perfectly.
Fantastic story - and I have heard about that empty building. It's a government building is it not?
So many potential challenges to fulfill with his one glorious shot! Such a good eye To recognize the perspective and composition that shows how high they are working.
