pentacle pendant by summerfield

pentacle pendant

it's a locket but it won't open; i wonder what's inside. i'm guessing there's a secret map to a treasure, or perhaps the winning numbers for a lottery. i can't really hit it with a hammer, can i, just so i can find out what's inside? if i do, maybe the force or the power would be gone.

meh! at least it's good for texture and pattern theme for this week. i'll pry it open one day when i have nothing else to do.

do you know: a pentagram is created by drawing a continuous line in five straight sections while a pentacle is particularly a talisman or a special object inscribed with a pentagram or any other pertinent figure.
I love the composition of this, using the frame and capturing the textures

It’s beautiful. Take it to a jeweler and stand over him while he opens it!

It's a beautiful locket. It would be interesting to know if it's hiding anything inside :)

It is rather unusual. It would be interesting to see if it's harbouring any secrets. Although if you open it and all is revealed then it no longer boasts any mystery.....

beautiful focus and details, don't take a hammer to it though

great presentation of this object of mystery and texture. What if you went to all the trouble of getting in and it was empty? How disappointing that would be.

Thanks for the edification about pentacle and pentagram. is this a double pentacle or a double pentagram? Whatever it is a magnificent subject with all the texture and detail you have captured in this terrific photo

Very unusual and no, I wouldn't be bashing it open either. Thanks for the penta- lesson, very interesting.

I’m intrigued. I suspect if it were mine,I’d have gotten into it already. I’m not great at keeping secrets either.
