i had been meaning to show this photo which i took during the tall ships festival at the end of last month. these two girls, part of the crew of the US Brig Niagara (of Baltimore), were having their lunch high up on the top mast sail (i think that's the term, i'm not sure; please correct me if i am wrong because i don't know anything about ship parts). below them on the deck(?) were other crew guiding people who paid a goodly sum to take their selfies on the ship. but methinks i got one of the best shots just from standing in the sidelines. as you can see, it was a glorious day then.
meanwhile, we continue to have high temps with humidity today of 90.
What a great place to have lunch, if they were on the bottom sail it's the main, or course sail, if the one above it's the gallant sail. If the top, it's the moon-raker. A lovely sky and colours
